Press ReleaseGoldline Acquires Limited Number of Royal Canadian Mint's Purest Gold Maple Leaf Coins to Date Gold Bullion Coin Represents New Standard in Investment Products Santa Monica, Calif. – May 15, 2007 – Goldline International Inc. today announced it has acquired a limited number of the Royal Canadian Mint's first .99999 pure gold one-ounce Maple Leaf coins. The gold bullion coin features a new, elegant maple leaf gracing the reverse and a 12-sided design. The Maple Leaf coin was first introduced in September 1979 as a one ounce investment gold coin with a purity of .999 until 1982 when it was raised to .9999, setting a new benchmark for gold bullion coins. "This gold coin represents a new standard in investment products and is the only .99999 pure gold bullion coin currently produced by a government mint," said Mark Albarian, president and chief executive officer of Santa Monica-based Goldline International Inc. "We are thrilled to offer this beautiful new coin to collectors and the investment community as gold continues to serve as a hedge against inflation and a falling dollar." Earlier this month, the Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the world’s largest, purest and highest denomination gold coin: the 2007 $1 million (Canadian) Maple Leaf. This 220.5 pound coin contains 99.999% gold, making it the purest coin of its size in the world. Despite its $1 million face value, the gold content of this mega-Maple Leaf is more than double this amount based upon current gold prices. Of course, the collectible value of this rare coin carries an even greater premium. The .99999 one ounce Maple Leafs are 30mm in diameter, 2.73mm thick. A limited number of these coins are being independently graded and certified by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as “First Strike” coins. Only coins that have been minted no later than 30 days from the official release date can qualify for PCGS’ First Strike certification. These First Strike coins are expected to be graded in Mint State 69 condition and available for approximately $1,200. Each graded coin will be sonically sealed in a rigid plastic container to preserve its mint condition.
