Officers and Selected Management

Mark Albarian, President & C.E.O.
Mr. Albarian attended the University of California at Berkeley and at Los Angeles (1978–1983) with a double major in Economics and Political Science.

From 1983 to 1984, Mr. Albarian was Assistant Vice President in the Numismatic Department of West Coast Bank. From 1984–1986, he was Vice President of Valley State Bank Collateral Loan Division. From 1986–1991, he was founding partner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metals company.

Mr. Albarian has been a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1980. He worked as a numismatic consultant from 1979 - 1983 for various rare coin firms and is a 2008 Contributor to "A Guide Book of United States Coins" (also known as the "Red Book"). Mark Albarian joined Goldline as its President in January, 1992.

Joseph C. Battaglia, Executive Vice President
Mr. Battaglia received his BA at the University of Southern California, an LLB from Loyola Law School, and practiced law from 1966 to 1979. He received the Coin Dealer "Man of the Year Award" in 1988.
Mr. Battaglia joined Goldline in February 1994 as an Executive Vice President and host of Goldline's American Advisor radio program.

Robert J. Fazio, Senior Vice President
Mr. Fazio graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1986 with a major in Communication Arts. He is a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA).

Mr. Fazio has traded precious metals professionally since 1986. He worked with Deak International Goldline Limited/Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd. from 1986-1991 prior to A-Mark’s purchase of Deak International Goldline, (US) Ltd. Mr. Fazio became Vice President at Goldline International, Inc., in 1992.

Joseph P. Ozaki, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ozaki graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1978 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance. He also attended UCLA with course emphasis in Computer Science.

Mr. Ozaki joined the A-Mark group in April 1985 and has over 20 years of experience in real estate, financial, and metals companies in various positions including Director of Operations, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer.

Grant Marylander, General Counsel & Vice President Business Affairs
Mr. Marylander received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with highest honors and his J.D. from Loyola Law School where he graduated with honors.

Mr. Marylander has practiced law for over twenty years representing clients in litigation and transactional matters. He also lectures and writes on various topics and was a contributing author to the California Trial Guide (Matthew Bender 1990). Mr. Marylander received an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell which is reserved for those lawyers who have reached the height of professional excellence.

Joel Gabrelow, Director of Numismatics
Mr. Gabrelow attended the University of California at Los Angeles from 1973-1977 where he majored in Economics.

From 1976-1981, Mr. Gabrelow was the owner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metal business. From 1982 to 1984, he was Vice President in the Numismatic Lending Department at West Coast Bank, the first bank in the country to make collateral loans on rare coins. From 1984-1986, Mr. Gabrelow was Senior Vice President of Valley State Bank Collateral Loan Division. From 1986-1990, he was founding partner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metals company. From 1990-2007, Mr. Gabrelow was the CEO of a Ventura County based Electronics Contract Manufacturing company.

Mr. Gabrelow has been a life member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1982. Joel Gabrelow joined Goldline as its Director of Numismatics in May, 2008.

Luis Beeli, Director of Account Executive Recruitment and Support
Mr. Beeli serves as Goldline International Inc.’s Director of Account Executive Training and Support. Before joining Goldline, Mr. Beeli had extensive sales experience working with such companies as MicroStrategy and Alta Vista.

Mr. Beeli graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge, with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending Cal State, Northridge, Mr. Beeli was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society, Honors CO-OP, and a three time recipient of the HMSC High Performance Team Award.

Keyth Pengal, Director of Operations
Mr. Pengal joined Goldline in 2005 as Director of Operations after serving as the Operations Manager for TimeWarner’s WarnerElecktraAtlantic Division where he directed operations for a 200+ employee facility.

Mr. Pengal obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Mr. Pengal attended Roosevelt University on an Academic Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude.

Stuart Hong, Controller
Mr. Hong joined Goldline in 2006 after serving in senior financial management positions with several companies in the merchandising industry. In addition, from 1995-1999, Mr. Hong was a partner in a high-profile personal training facility in Los Angeles. From 1979-1989, Mr. Hong worked as a Senior Audit Manager for KPMG.

Mr. Hong graduated with high honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management. He is a licensed CPA in the states of California and Hawaii.

Lisa Weedman, Director of Business Affairs
Ms. Weedman joined Goldline International Inc. in 1996. Weedman has served as Client Services Manager and Director of Administration before being promoted to Director of Business Affairs in 2006. Her duties include client relations, marketing and telemarketing compliance.

Ms.Weedman received her Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University where she majored in Economics. She has also had extensive coursework and experience in the areas of Human Resources, Sales, and Employee Benefits.
